Inside the Park Indoor Batting Cages is a family owned and operated, state of the art indoor facility serving southeastern New England baseball and softball enthusiasts since 1990. The location is large enough to accommodate all skill levels.
Sean Riley: Coach Riley has achieved the "All American" honor as well as the "All New England" Honors playing 2nd base for Bridgewater State University. During his junior season, he was named the MASCAC baseball player of the year. He currently manages at Inside the Park Batting Cages.
Jared Evans: Jared has been giving private and group instruction for over 15 years and is known as one of the most reputable in the industry due to his endless attention to detail and understanding of bio-mechanics. Jared's coaching career started with 2 seasons as the Assistant Head Baseball Coach at Dean College, 2 seasons at Scottsdale Community and most recently, spent 3 seasons as an Area Scout with the New York Mets.
Carl Reid: Coach Reid had a stellar high school pitching career at Tiverton High School, culminating in a RI State Championship in 1982. Following high school, Coach Reid pitched at the University of Rhode Island from 1983 - 1986. Following graduation with a degree in Physical Education, Coach Reid embarked on a career in education and coaching. He became an Assistant Baseball Coach at his alma mater, Tiverton HS, beginning in 1987. In 1991, he succeeded the legendary Steve Lake as Tiverton HS Head Baseball Coach. In his first two seasons as head coach, his teams posted a regular season record of 32-1. He stepped away after the 1999 season, but returned as a volunteer assistant coach in 2003 and assumed the Head Coach position in 2009, serving through 2015. He "retired" after the 2015 season and has spent his time doing one-on-one instruction with young and aspiring pitchers. In 2016, he coached the Newport Jr. Gulls 12u Team.
Jason Martin: Jay is a Fall River MA native. He attended Diman Regional Voc.-Tech. High School, where he played Varsity Baseball for legendary Coach John Pacheco from 2002 - 2005. He was a two-year starter for the Bengals. During his junior year, his team achieved an 18-0 regular season record. In his senior year of 2005, he was named team captain, and also was selected as his team's Most Outstanding Player, a Mayflower League All Star, and a Fall River Herald News All Star. During the summers, he played for both the Fall River Post 314 American Legion Baseball Program (winning the Zone 9 Championship in 2005) and in the Maplewood Babe Ruth League (winning consecutive state titles in 2002, 2003, and 2004). After high school, he played one season as Massasoit Community College before entering the workforce full-time. Still active as a player, he has played in the Fall River Independent Baseball League (2008 - present), the RI Mens' Senior Baseball League (2011 - present), and the George Donnelly Sunset League (2012 - present). He started his coaching career in 2015 as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Durfee High School (under OPS co-owner Dave Ulmschneider), and has served as an instructor at both In The Zone Baseball Club (2015 - 2016) and Inside The Park (2016), working with both hitters and catchers.
